Where is the departure from?
Departure & Meeting Point
Our luxury long-tail boat is docked at Tonsai Bay, on Koh Phi Phi Don.
📍The meeting point is at our main office – Visa Travel Team – conveniently located near the main pier on Phi Phi Don.
✅ Free hotel pick-up is available from selected hotels on Phi Phi Island (weather and tide permitting).
If you’re staying outside the main area of the island, please let us know in advance so we can check if pick-up is possible.

Coming from Phuket or Krabi?
If you’re staying in Phuket or Krabi, you can make your own way to Phi Phi Island by public ferry or speedboat.

how can we get to phi phi island?
The easiest way to reach Phi Phi Island is by speedboat or ferry from either Phuket or Krabi. Boats run several times a day between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
If you’d like a smooth and stress-free journey, we can arrange the entire transfer for you, including hotel pick-up and boat tickets. Just send us a message—we’re happy to help!
How Far in Advance Should I Book?
We highly recommend booking our luxury long-tail boat well in advance—ideally a few months before your trip.
As we operate only two boats of this kind, it tends to get fully booked daily, especially during the high season (November to May) when demand is very high.
To avoid disappointment, please contact us as soon as you know your preferred date so we can secure your reservation.
On days when our luxury long-tail boat is fully booked, we can still offer you a VIP or Premium long-tail boat as an excellent alternative.
We currently offer four types of private long-tail boats for tours around Phi Phi and Krabi, so there’s always a great option to suit your style and budget.

What time does the tour start and finish?
If you’re already staying on Koh Phi Phi, you have full flexibility—choose your preferred departure time anytime between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
If you’re staying in Phuket or Krabi, we offer full transfer packages with hotel pick-up and speedboat to Phi Phi. The start time of your private long-tail boat tour depends on your location and whether you book a full-day or half-day experience.

Can we customize the itinerary?
You can choose your preferred pace and prioritize the places you’d like to see, whether it’s more time snorkeling, relaxing on a quiet beach, or sightseeing around the islands.
For half-day trips, we explore either Phi Phi Leh (like Maya Bay and the Blue Lagoon) or Phi Phi Don (snorkeling spots and hidden beaches).
On full-day trips, we usually visit highlights from both islands—but you’re welcome to skip certain stops or spend longer in your favorite places.
Please keep in mind that the final route always depends on the weather, tides, and sea conditions on the day of your trip. We’ll adjust the plan as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
What should we bring?
Here’s a quick checklist of essentials to bring on your boat trip:

Cash for the National Park fee:

You can also buy extra snacks, drinks, or anything you might need when you arrive in Phi Phi before the trip starts.
Is lunch included?
Yes, lunch is included in all of our tours.
We serve a delicious Thai lunch, which usually includes fried rice or noodles, snacks and fresh fruit.
If you have any food allergies or need a vegetarian or vegan option, please let us know in advance.
What if the weather is bad?
If there’s heavy rain or unsafe sea conditions at the time of departure, you’ll have two options:
✅ Cancel and receive a full refund, or
✅ Reschedule for a later time or another day (subject to availability)
Important:
Once your trip has started, we’re unable to offer refunds, partial refunds, or date changes, even if the weather changes during the tour. Safety is always our top priority, and we closely monitor conditions to ensure the best experience possible.
Can we bring alcohol on board?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own drinks on board, and we also include a complimentary bottle of wine with your tour.
However, please note:
🚫 Drinking alcohol or smoking weed is strictly prohibited in National Park areas (such as Maya Bay, Lagoon and Bamboo Island). We kindly ask all guests to be respectful and sensible. Please be aware that National Park rangers actively monitor the area and can issue fines for inappropriate behavior, including smoking in the sea or unruly conduct.
Is the tour suitable for children or elderly guests?
Yes, children and elderly guests are welcome on our tours.
👶 Children under 3 years old can join for free.
🧒 Children aged 4–10 years receive a discounted rate.
However, please keep in mind:
Sea conditions can change quickly, and the long-tail boat may become bumpy if there are waves.
If you are coming from Phuket or Krabi, the speedboat transfer can also be rough depending on the weather, not suitable for babies.
This experience may not be suitable for people with back or mobility problems, especially during choppy sea conditions or when boarding the boat.
If you are traveling with small children or elderly guests, feel free to contact us with any questions—we’re happy to provide details, but it’s ultimately up to your discretion to decide if this experience is right for your group.
Can pregnant women join the tour?
❌ Unfortunately, no. Due to safety and insurance regulations, we cannot accept bookings for pregnant women.
If a reservation is made without informing us of a pregnancy, and you’re refused entry to the boat or transfer, no refund will be provided.
It is your responsibility to notify us before making any booking. Thank you for understanding—your safety is our top priority.
Is there shade on the boat?
✅ Yes, our luxury long-tail boat has a roof that covers about half of the boat, providing a shaded area where you can relax and stay protected from the sun.
The front of the boat is open, so you can still enjoy the sunshine and take in the views—perfect for a mix of comfort and scenic enjoyment.
Where does the boat drop us off after the tour?
If you’re staying on Koh Phi Phi, we will drop you off at Tonsai Pier or back at your hotel (if accessible and weather permits).
If you’re coming from Phuket or Krabi, our driver will be waiting after the tour to take you back to your hotel.
Just relax and enjoy—we’ll make sure your return is smooth and easy! ✅
what is the refund policy?
✅ Cancellations Made in Advance
- 100% Refund – For cancellations made more than 1 month before the scheduled trip date.
- 50% Refund – For cancellations made between 48 hours and 1 month before the scheduled trip date.
❌ Less Than 48 Hours Notice or No-Show
No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the trip or for no-shows.
🌧️ Cancellations Due to Weather
- If we cancel your trip due to bad weather, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
- Note: Once your trip has started, no refund can be provided. The weather can change during the trip and we can not issue any compensation if there is any rain or bad weather after your trip has departed.
🤒 Illness or Inability to Attend (Last-Minute)
- Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or rescheduling for last-minute illness or personal inability to attend, as all services are pre-booked and paid in advance.
- If you wish to reschedule, a new reservation and full payment will be required. In this case you can contact your travel insurance company to claim your payment back via your insurance policy.
